Your departmentThe Spare Parts department is globally responsible for marketing, procurement, sales, planning and delivery of Vanderlande material handling Spare Parts. The department is part of the Global Services business unit and consists of three teams:Logistical Support, your new team, responsible for the order fulfilment process of Spare Parts.Product & Marketing, responsible for product management and master dataSales Support, providing day-to-day operational support to various Customer Centers across the globe in terms of sales, order-entry and customer serviceSpare Parts is an essential part of the Service Proposition and contributes significantly to the company's operating results.Your PositionYour main responsibility will be the inventory-management and related operational purchasing activities for assigned product-categories. Resulting in an optimal supply towards our customers in relation to supply chain costs. Your active contribution is required to optimize and develop the spares supply chain, facilitating the ongoing growth of the business. Tasks/ResponsibilitiesInventory-management for several product-categoriesOperational purchasing spare parts and related administrationManage supplier-performance for assigned supplier-baseAct as a sparring partner and create relationships with internal departments and external suppliersHandle escalations effectively, proper stakeholder managementAct as project lead for (process-) improvements.
